In the midst of time falling back and early evenings I wanted to paint my nails the ultimate light absorber.
Black represent sophistication and power and is often the ensemble colour of choice of beauty professionals and artist alike. Texture is the key that will set you apart from basic black on black; whether it be polish or your wardrobe.
Here I used 2 coats of Essie polish in Licorice with a high shine top coat.
Another way to give this look a different texture is by adding a Krackle top coat like this one from Milani.
It adds depth by creating a top matte layer while exposing the lower shiny layer. I like the fact that it’s subtle but still interesting when noticed.
